Uncle Mo Drawing

Uncle Mo is a retired Thoroughbred. After going undefeated in his 2 year old season (2010), he was an early favorite for the 2011 Kentucky Derby. He was scratched the day before the race with health issues. He did make an unsuccessful return to racing.  He now stands as a "Shuttle stallion" servicing mares at Coolmore's American and Australian farms.

This is my first full year as a fan of Horses and Thoroughbred Racing. This winter has been my first "Foaling Season." I love all the pictures I see of these fuzzy little ones and their Moms.

Week old Kid

Today we got a couple inches of snow on Kent Island. Jacob and I went to visit my friends farm to visit Frosty and Magic. They also have goats. There was one that was less than a week old, and one about 10 days.

Great day at Laurel Park! Extremely cold with wind chills in the single digits. Went to the Jocks room before Victors first race. I gave him the original drawing of him, and he signed a print for me. He also gave my son Jacob and I signed goggles. After one of the races, we took pictures together.
